Professional profile

My interest in head and neck surgery is derived from extensive training initially in London under Sir Donald Harrison and later in busy units in Nottingham and Leicester. My otological interests were enhanced in a research year in Toronto. I have developed a clinical interest in facial pain which I feel is too often overtreated by overzealous endoscopic surgery.

Research interests: Tympanic epithelium; swimming and otolaryngology.
