I have been a consultant medical oncologist since 1994. I have trained at The Royal Free Hospital in London, The Royal Marsden Hospital and Institute of Cancer Research in London / Sutton and then St James University Hospital in Leeds.

I undertake a number of National Leadership roles as indicated above and have previously been a senior medical manager within the NHS.

I was awarded an honorary visiting professorship in the University of Leeds in 2013.

My major clinical interests are in breast, testicular, Germ Cell and Urological Cancers.

Research interests: Active leader and participant in many clinical trials of cancer treatments.
