For all our customers, Spire Pathology Services provides a secure, online results service enabling to access to laboratory results with confidence at a time that suits you and your staff. Our web-based reporting facility provides industry-leading fast turnaround times and reduces administration costs.
Our web-based reporting facility - Pathology Portal - provides industry leading turnaround times and reduces administration costs.
It is a password protected online area for clinicians to access their patient's results quickly and easily for diagnosis and to plan treatment.
As soon as a patient's sample arrives at a laboratory, it will be analysed and validated by one of our scientists and the result reported online through Pathology Portal.
Each test has a pre-agreed turnaround time so that clinicians know when to expect the result. In some instances, we will call the clinician to advise them that the report or result is ready.
We offer our customers access to the SPS web browser for reporting of results. This provides a secure way to view their results online.
The Pathology Portal is a laboratory information management system (LIMS) designed and developed with Spire, and will soon have a digital platform option compatible with all digital devices.
It is very secure with multi-factor authentication.
SPS operate and validate its systems to good information management practice (GAMP) and GxP computerised system standards, a risk based approach focusing on the integrity, consistency and completeness of controls required to maintain compliance.
Over the coming months, Spire Healthcare is replacing the SPS Browser with a new web-based application called Cyberlab.
Cyberlab allows clinicians to view and print pathology laboratory results to support clinical decision making and patient management. With an improved look and feel, it offers fast and remote access to results, intuitive look up screens with customisable layout and filter options, easy to use navigation buttons for browsing through results, new graphical and numerical historical views and trends of patients’ results over time, and improved PDF reports.
We are piloting Cyberlab with some of our customers from mid October ahead of wider rollout in Spring 2018.
To learn more about Cyberlab, please contact your local Spire Healthcare laboratory.
If you already have a user ID and password, login to Cyberlab.
