I am a Consultant General Surgeon offering private care at Spire Yale Hospital and Spire Abergele Clinic. My primary clinical interest is in the management of upper gastrointestinal conditions, including both oncological and functional disorders.

I have extensive experience in advanced laparoscopic surgery and have been actively involved in teaching these techniques, with particular emphasis on the management of biliary disease and anti‑reflux surgery. I also have a strong interest in the surgical management of obesity and work with patients to explore appropriate treatment options based on individual needs.

Alongside my general surgical practice, I perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, allowing comprehensive assessment and management of upper gastrointestinal symptoms within a single care pathway.

I trained as a general surgeon in New Zealand before moving to the UK, gaining broad experience across a wide range of general and upper gastrointestinal surgical conditions. My areas of specialist interest include the treatment of gastro‑oesophageal reflux disease, gallstone disease, abdominal wall hernias, benign and cancer‑related disorders of the upper gastrointestinal tract, and obesity‑related conditions.
