I studied medicine at Westminster Medical School qualifying in 1986. I spent three years in research in the department of academic rheumatology at St Georges Hospital Medical School, London.
l was trained in both rheumatology and acute internal medicines by the South Thames Regional Training Scheme. I was awarded a certificate of specialist accreditation in both rheumatology and internal medicine in 2000. I was appointed as a consultant rheumatologist and physician in 2000, at the East Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust. I have a large NHS commitment to the north of East Sussex with up to eight clinics per month in Uckfield and Crowborough.
Spire Tunbridge Wells Hospital is only able to provide Covid-19 tests to patients undergoing surgery at our hospital. Covid-19 testing or antibody tests are not available as a standalone service.
