Ms Ali Todd
Nutrition Consultant and Registered Dietitian
Bsc, RD, MBDA
For the past 12 years my focus has been predominantly on helping patients to manage their gastrointestinal conditions. I have an in-depth knowledge of the low FODMAP and other diets in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), having spoken on the topic at a recent IBS roadshow. I have experience in the use of the Elemental and LOFFLEX diets to treat Crohn’s disease and have lectured on this for the MSc in nutritional medicine at Plymouth University. I frequently see patients with constipation and diverticular disease, as well as patients with non-gut related medical conditions.
I graduated from King's College London in 1998 as a registered Dietitian and worked in a variety of teaching hospitals in London and Cambridge. This gave me the opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of specialties such as cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, gastroenterology, bariatric surgery and weight management. I worked in a number of London teaching hospitals before setting up my Harley Street practice in 2003. I have experience of working in a range of disciplines including diabetes, weight management and cardiovascular disease.
