As a gastroenterologist I deal with problems relating to the entire digestive system. I investigate and treat patients with indigestion, abdominal pain, anaemia due to iron deficiency, altered bowel habit, rectal bleeding and jaundice. I accept referrals from GPs to investigate and manage patients with these problems and also referrals from GPs who require only an endoscopy for their patients.
Gastrointestinal disorders, gastric balloon treatment for obesity, diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy, gastroscopy, enteroscopy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and EUS guided biopsy (EUS FNA) of abdominal abnormalities including pancreatic cysts and mediastinal lesions.
