Mr Mark Tomlinson

Mr Mark Tomlinson

General and Vascular Surgeon

MBBS, FRCS (Eng), FRCS (Gen Surg)

I have extensive specialist and broad general surgical experience and provide private outpatient consultations for a wide range of surgical conditions, including more complex cases. My practice focuses on the use of modern technology and minimally invasive techniques.

I offer a comprehensive service for the management of varicose veins, including endovenous ablation using radiofrequency, surgical vein removal and injection treatments such as foam sclerotherapy and micro‑injection for thread veins.

I also perform hernia repair and gallbladder surgery, using both laparoscopic (minimally invasive) and open techniques where appropriate. In addition, I undertake a range of day‑case procedures, including the removal of skin lesions such as cysts, lipomas, lumps and bumps, as well as treatment for nail conditions.

My practice includes endocrine surgery, with particular experience in thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal procedures, including re‑operative surgery. I have served as Lead Thyroid and Endocrine Surgeon within my NHS Trust for 10 years.
