I am a Consultant Dermatologist, fellowship trained, specialising in Mohs surgery; the leading technique for removing facial skin cancers. I'm one of a few select specialists working in the UK to have completed an accredited American College of Mohs Surgery fellowship - the world's leading membership organisation specialising in Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstruction.

I've been practising medicine since 2004. Born and raised in Lancashire, I completed my training in general medicine and general practice before training in dermatology in Manchester.

With a procedure like Mohs surgery, you need trust, precision, and attention to detail. It's the gold standard technique for removing high-risk skin cancers, leaving healthy skin untouched, minimising the chance of scars, and coming with the highest cure rate and lowest chance of recurrence of any form of treatment. You can find more information and comprehensive patient resources at https://www.drarifaslam.com.

Popular, widely published, well-liked, and with a reputation for impeccable care, my international experience and prestigious training mean anyone faced with the reality of skin cancer has access to the best possible treatment - fast, successful, professional, and a 5-star overall patient trust rating from Doctify which independently verifies patient reviews.

I am a registered specialist dermatologist and Mohs surgeon in the UK, New Zealand, and Australia.
