I am a Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist at Spire Yale Hospital and Spire Abergele Clinic. I qualified in London in 2000 and have focused my career on obtaining comprehensive training in gynaecology and gynaecological oncology.
In 2007, I subspecialised following a period of research into Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and its association with cervical cancer. I subsequently trained as a gynaecological oncologist, with a particular focus on the diagnosis and treatment of gynaecological cancers.
I trained in Cardiff before moving to North Wales to contribute to the development of cancer services in the region. As part of this work, I perform major gynaecological surgery and, together with colleagues in Cardiff, have helped develop one of the largest laparoscopic hysterectomy programmes in Wales.
My clinical practice includes the management of gynaecological cancer and advanced laparoscopic (minimally invasive) surgery.
My private practice reflects the same approach as my NHS work, providing dedicated care in diagnosis, treatment and follow‑up. Consultations are available at Spire Abergele Clinic and Spire Yale Hospital.
