I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Spire Yale Hospital and Spire Abergele Clinic, specialising in shoulder, elbow and hand conditions, including sports‑related injuries. My clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of upper limb conditions, using current techniques to restore function and manage injury.
I completed a fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at Liverpool University Hospital, where I gained experience in all aspects of upper limb surgery, including arthroscopic (keyhole) procedures involving the shoulder, elbow and hand.
I see over 2,000 new patients each year and perform more than 750 surgical procedures annually.
Alongside my clinical work, I am actively involved in education and training. I work with Bangor University, supporting the development of advanced clinical practitioners and extended scope physiotherapists within trauma services. I also work with the Universities of Cardiff and Liverpool, contributing to undergraduate teaching by supporting medical students in clinic.
I am an educational supervisor for junior doctors at Ysbyty Gwynedd and contribute to their training and professional development.
My clinical work includes shoulder, elbow and hand surgery, as well as the management of soft tissue and upper limb musculoskeletal injuries.
