I am a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Spire Yale Hospital and Spire Abergele Clinic, specialising in the management of conditions affecting the face, jaws and mouth. I care for patients from North and Mid Wales, Cheshire and Shropshire.
I have a particular interest in the treatment of facial skin cancer and oral malignancy, as well as benign skin conditions such as cysts, moles, warts and other soft tissue lumps. My practice also includes the management of jaw and mouth abnormalities, including jaw joint (TMJ) disorders, mouth lesions and salivary gland conditions.
I undertake a wide range of procedures including malignant skin cancer excision, removal of moles, cysts, warts and skin tags, surgery for jaw cysts and impacted teeth, removal of oral cysts and polyps, and salivary gland surgery. I am also involved in diagnostic assessment, including investigations for suspected cancer.
Alongside my clinical work, I am actively involved in medical and surgical education. I have been Foundation Programme Director at Glan Clwyd Hospital since 2015 and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Core Training Programme Director since 2005, contributing to the training of junior doctors and surgical trainees.
