I am a Consultant Neurologist offering private care at Spire Yale Hospital, Spire Abergele Clinic and Spire Chesney Court. I have more than 20 years of international experience working across a range of neurological services, and my aim is to provide high‑quality, evidence‑based care in a compassionate and supportive setting. I place great importance on helping patients understand their condition and treatment options clearly, so they feel confident and involved in decisions about their care.
I practise as a general neurologist and have broad experience diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological conditions. These include headaches, seizures and blackouts, dizziness and balance problems, tremor and movement disorders, memory concerns, sleep difficulties, fatigue and weakness, as well as facial, neck and back pain. I also manage more complex neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, brain tumours, neurovascular disorders, and nerve and muscle conditions.
I also offer EEG investigations in clinic to support the diagnosis and management of seizures and epilepsy.
My subspecialty interest is epilepsy, and I am actively involved in the management of complex epilepsy cases, including epilepsy surgery pathways. I have trained with internationally recognised epilepsy specialists, including during a focused placement at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, USA. I also developed the local protocol for the use of cannabis‑based medicinal products in epilepsy.
Alongside my private practice, I have been a Consultant Neurologist at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool since 2016, the UK’s only specialist hospital trust providing comprehensive neuroscience care. I also provide general neurology clinics and inpatient neurology referrals at the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen Hospitals. I am an honorary lecturer at Liverpool Medical University and am actively involved in teaching and supervising medical students and junior doctors.Â
