Mrs Victoria Shilling
I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2000 from The University of Brighton. I have extensive experience within both the private and NHS settings covering a variety of different areas. My area of specialty lies within the field of urology and gynaecology and I have undertaken specialist training at the University of Bradford, obtaining a postgraduate certificate in continence.
I have worked alongside a specialist team of physiotherapists in the NHS where I further developed my specialist skills. Within the Spire Tunbridge Wells Hospital, I work closely with the urology and gynaecology consultants, basing my treatment around conservative management of urology and gynaecology conditions, in line with the NICE guidelines. The service accepts self-referrals, consultant referrals and GP referrals.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mrs Victoria Shilling at Spire include:
Women's health, Pilates, pelvic floor re-education, bladder and bowel incontinence - male and female, overactive bladders, recurrent urine infections, chronic constipation, dyspareunia/painful intercourse, ante-natal - SPD/PGP, carpal tunnel, back pain, post natal - SPD/PGP, tears, episiotomy, diastasis, core strengthening/1:1 Pilates, posterior tibial nerve stimulation (PTNS).
COVID-19 testing or antibody tests are not available as a standalone service at Spire Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
