Mr Neil Rowson

Mr Neil Rowson

I qualified from Leeds Medical School in 1982. I trained in Ophthalmology at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, and Birmingham Eye Hospital. I held specialist Fellowship posts in Oculoplastic, Lacrimal and Orbital surgery at Moorfields and at the Academic Medical Centre, Amsterdam, before taking up my NHS post in 1997.

Since then I have developed a busy, well equipped private practice specialising in small incision cataract surgery, oculoplastic and lacrimal surgery, including cosmetic lid surgery.

I am a Fellow of the Royal College of ophthalmologists, a member of the British Oculoplastic Surgical Society and a member of the European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and; Reconstructive Surgeons. I am also the Vice President of the Ophthalmology Section of the Royal Society of Medicine.

Research Interest: Acquired lacrimal drainage obstruction in patients on chemotherapy.

I am available Mondays, Thursdays and Friday mornings.
