I have been a consultant since 2000, and have experience in all aspects of general neurology, including multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, neuro-muscular diseases, headaches and cerebrovascular disease (strokes and TIAs).

I qualified at Charing Cross Hospital, London. My neurology training was at Atkinson Morley Hospital, King’s College Hospital, the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and Guy’s and St Thomas' Hospitals. I obtained my MD on 'Aspects of Cortical Function in Motor Neurone Disease – Positron Emission Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy Studies'.

In 1996, I worked as a lecturer in medicine at Makerere University and Mulago Hospital, Kampala, Uganda. I am the clinical lead for neurology at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
