I am a Consultant Plastic Surgeon specialising in skin cancer surgery, complex reconstruction and aesthetic plastic surgery.
I completed advanced fellowship training in Canada, gaining international experience in complex plastic and reconstructive surgery at leading specialist centres. This training shaped my meticulous, contemporary approach, combining technical precision with a focus on natural, functional and lasting results.
I have a particular interest in complex skin cancer surgery and melanoma, including sentinel lymph node biopsy, and have published research on using indocyanine green (ICG) fluorescence to improve the accuracy of melanoma surgery. I also specialise in complex head and neck reconstruction following cancer surgery, including published work on biodegradable temporising matrix (BTM), as well as facial paralysis reconstruction using nerve transfer and graft, and corneal neurotisation.
Alongside my cancer and reconstructive practice, I undertake aesthetic plastic surgery, particularly facial rejuvenation and breast surgery, aiming for refined, natural-looking results through careful assessment and individualised planning.
I have held professional roles including the Education Committee of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and three years on the BAPRAS Communications Committee.
The combination of international training, specialist cancer expertise, advanced reconstructive experience and aesthetic practice gives patients a broad, highly specialised approach to modern plastic surgery. I believe excellent surgery begins with an informed patient and realistic expectations.

Personal profile
In my spare time I manage my small flock of chickens on a 20 acre smallholding just five miles from Wrexham. Along with my husband, who is an orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeon, we find time to travel, especially skiing, and to enjoy the Welsh countryside.
