I am a Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon offering private care at Spire Yale Hospital, Spire Abergele Clinic and Spire Chesney Court. My main clinical interest is the management of large bowel conditions, both benign and malignant, and I provide personalised, evidence‑based care tailored to each individual.
I undertook extensive higher specialist surgical training in the South West of England, gaining broad experience in colorectal and general surgery. I have further developed my expertise through advanced laparoscopic training courses and fellowships, both nationally and internationally, allowing me to offer modern, minimally invasive surgical techniques where appropriate to support recovery and improve outcomes.
Alongside my clinical work, I have a strong academic background. I have published widely in scientific journals and textbooks and completed a doctoral degree (PhD) in the Department of Surgery at Cardiff University. My research focused on investigating the spread of cancer to the lymphatic system, strengthening my understanding of colorectal cancer biology and its surgical management.
In my clinical practice, I manage a broad range of colorectal conditions, including colorectal cancer, functional bowel disorders and pelvic floor problems.
