I am a Consultant General Surgeon at Spire Yale Hospital and Spire Abergele Clinic. My primary interest is in the management of upper gastro-intestinal diseases both oncological (cancer) and functional. I have had extensive training in, and have taught, advanced laparoscopic techniques with particular emphasis on biliary disease and anti-reflux surgery. I also have a particular interest in obesity surgery.

In addition to maintaining my practice in general surgery, I also perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.

I trained as a general surgeon in New Zealand before moving to the UK.
