I am a fellowship‑trained Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon practising at Spire Yale Hospital and Spire Abergele Clinic. Since my appointment as a Consultant in 2018, I have specialised in hip and knee surgery, with extensive experience in both primary and complex joint replacement.
My clinical expertise includes total hip replacement and total knee replacement, as well as complex primary knee arthroplasty and revision surgery for failed hip and knee replacements. I also routinely perform knee arthroscopy for meniscal tears, hip and knee injections including Arthrosamid knee injections for arthritis, and manage specialist hip and knee trauma.
I am the Lead Clinician for revision hip and knee replacement at my base hospital and lead the revision knee arthroplasty service for Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. In this role, I regularly manage complex and failed joint replacements referred from across the region, including challenging revision hip and knee procedures.
I am committed to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care and take time to provide clear advice on both surgical and non‑surgical treatment options. My aim is always to help patients return to an active, comfortable and pain‑free life wherever possible.
