I am a General Medicine Consultant Physician at Spire Abergele Clinic. I have special interests in the diagnosis and management of diabetes, non-interventional cardiology, TIA and stroke medicine and geriatric medicine. I also have special interest in early screening of rheumatological conditions. I have been a consultant physician in the UK since 2010.
My scope of practice and areas of expertise are treating acute and chronic general medical conditions. My special areas of interests are to manage diabetes and its complications, hypertension, thyroid disease, TIA/minor stroke disease and comprehensive geriatric assessment. I also have an interest in initial screening and managing early rheumatological condition.
I see patients with acute and chronic medical conditions in everyday practice. I am also willing to provide a one-stop clinic for TIA/Syncope etc.
I trained in the United Kingdom where I held the position of Clinical Lead for general and acute medicine in Countess of Chester Hospital until 2018. I went to Australia for a few years and did my Fellowship in General Medicine and worked in both the public and private sector in Australia with excellent reputation.
I am a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in addition to Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, and an international examiner for MRCP to represent Royal College of Physicians, UK. I was an honorary senior lecturer for medical students at James Cook University in Townsville and was also examiner for Basic Physician trainees in Australia. I have been involved and actively participated in several multinational trials, publishing multiple case reports in journals.
I am an International Examiner for MRCP Final examination and I host and chair for Royal College of Physicians, UK.
