I am a consultant cardiologist specialising in cardiac imaging, seeing patients at Spire Murrayfield Wirral and Spire Abergele Clinic. I provide comprehensive assessment and care for both common and complex heart conditions, with a focus on accurate diagnosis and clear, personalised treatment plans.
I regularly see patients with symptoms such as chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, leg swelling, blackouts and high blood pressure, as well as conditions including coronary artery disease, heart rhythm problems, heart failure and valve disease. Through my specialist expertise in cardiac imaging, I also assess and manage less common heart conditions, including inherited cardiomyopathies and structural heart disease.
At Spire, I offer a wide range of cardiac investigations, with particular expertise in echocardiography, including transoesophageal echocardiograms. I also undertake advanced non‑invasive imaging such as cardiac CT and cardiac MRI, which play a key role in diagnosing heart conditions, guiding treatment decisions and providing reassurance when serious disease is excluded. I take time to explain test results clearly so patients understand what they mean for their health.
Alongside my private practice, I hold senior leadership roles within the NHS relating to cardiac imaging, clinical governance and patient safety. I am also actively involved in research and academic work within cardiology, ensuring my practice reflects current evidence and best practice. I am pleased to offer consultations in both English and Polish.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and staying active through jogging and cycling.
