About the consultant

Mrs Katarzyna Studnicka-Perkin is a Trauma and Orthopaedic Hand Consultant at Spire Abergele Clinic, specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of degenerative and traumatic conditions affecting the hand and wrist. She has been working as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon since 2023 and has extensive experience in both NHS and private practice.

Over her 18-year NHS career, she has been involved in approximately 4,500 surgical procedures, with a particular focus on hand and wrist surgery. Her specialist interests include carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren's disease, trigger finger, ganglions, hand and wrist pain, sports injuries, and arthritis affecting the hand and thumb.

Each appointment is 10 minutes long and is a one-to-one session where you can:

• Understand treatment options available to you

Pre-booking is essential as places are limited.

Mini consultations are an opportunity to ask any questions or concerns you may have and are not a formal outpatient consultation. If you wish to proceed with treatment or surgery, a full outpatient consultation will be required.
