I am a consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon seeing patients at Spire Murrayfield Hospital Wirral and Spire Abergele Clinic. I look after people with circulation problems affecting the arteries and veins, offering clear assessments and a full range of treatment options tailored to each individual.
I have extensive experience in managing conditions such as peripheral arterial disease, aortic aneurysms and varicose veins, as well as leg ulcers, swelling and circulation problems related to diabetes. I regularly see patients with poor blood flow to the legs, neck or abdomen, helping them understand their condition and decide on the most appropriate treatment, whether that involves lifestyle measures, minimally invasive procedures or surgery.
I offer both open and endovascular treatments, including keyhole techniques designed to support quicker recovery where suitable. I also have a particular interest in treating younger patients with uncommon circulation problems, such as popliteal entrapment syndrome. For varicose veins, I provide modern day‑case treatments under local anaesthetic, with options aimed at relieving symptoms while minimising disruption to daily life.
Alongside my work at Spire, I am actively involved in training and education within vascular surgery and support the development of junior doctors across the North West. This academic and teaching role ensures my practice remains closely aligned with current evidence and best standards of care.
Outside of work, I enjoy keeping active at the gym, watching football, cycling with my children, travelling and listening to audiobooks.
