How do I make an appointment?

Whether you’re paying for yourself, using private medical insurance or are an NHS patient, accessing our hospitals is really easy.

By Spire Healthcare

Booking with Spire Healthcare is simple. Whether you’re paying for yourself, using private medical insurance or are an NHS patient, accessing our hospitals is really easy.

Paying for yourself

Call our Private Patient Sales Advisers

If you’re paying for yourself, our Private Patient Sales Advisers can discuss your needs and give you an indication of the costs involved. They’ll also let you know whether a GP referral is required to see one of our specialists. Find your nearest Spire hospital

Book online

You can book an online initial consultation appointment for yourself or someone else. You can choose an appointment time to suit you with a consultant of your choice. You can also choose to have a face to face or virtual appointment. We’ll do our best to provide the appointment preference you’ve chosen but can’t guarantee this when booking. Search for a consultant

Using your private medical insurance

If you have insurance, you’ll usually need a GP referral before you can see a specialist privately so you need to check with your insurer. Once you have an approval or authorisation number from them you can call us to make your appointment. Find your nearest Spire hospital

Virtual consultations

We offer virtual consultation appointments giving you fast access to our experts, from the comfort of your home.

A virtual consultation by video or telephone lets you discuss your health concerns with a consultant or private GP without the need to travel to a Spire hospital. New and follow up appointments are available whether you’re paying for yourself or with health insurance. Search for a consultant
