Temperature has long been known to affect male fertility and one man has now created a pair of underpants to ensure sperm remains nice and cool at all times.
Morocco-based entrepreneur Josh Shoemaker's patented Snowballs are pants for men that come with an integrated pocket that offers cooling for the testicles. This is designed with the purpose of boosting sperm count.
The idea came to Mr Shoemaker after his friend was told by a doctor to keep his genitals at a low temperature to conceive.
Speaking to MailOnline he said: "The studies showing that icing works are pretty recent, and we're just starting out, but there is no doubt that heat kills sperm, and that icing prevents that."
However, he acknowledges that it differs for each person and in fertility science it is difficult to isolate one factor.
Nonetheless, when undergoing Fertility IVF treatment, maximising conceiving through any means can be worth trying.
