I am an experienced Gynaecologist with more than 18 years of experience and an expert in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, endometriosis and early pregnancy. I believe in holistic approach in patient care and my priority is patient safety, minimal intervention and patient involvement in decision making. I earned excellent experience in managing complex cases with minimal intervention and best outcomes.
I have extensive experience in all benign Gynaecology conditions including menstrual disorders, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, fibroid, ovarian cysts and utero vaginal prolapse.
I have particular interest in minimal access surgery, endometriosis, reproductive surgery and early pregnancy complications including miscarriage, recurrent miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy and a range of other conditions.
I perform most of the surgeries via keyhole (including hysterectomy, ovarian cyst removal, fibroid removal, ectopic pregnancy, endometriosis and other conditions). This involves only 3 small tummy scars (usually one 10mm and two 5mm scars) to provide best cosmetic and surgical outcome for my patients.
I am the lead for early pregnancy services at Wexham Park and Heatherwood Hospitals.
In addition to my clinical work, I am also proud to be the undergraduate O&G lead for Southampton medical students at Wexham Park Hospital and a member of gynaecology laparoscopic simulation faculty of Oxford deanery. I am also a member of RCOG part 2 examination subcommittee.

I am married with two children.
I can converse fluently in Tamil and Sinhala along with English.
I spend my free time with my kids and like travelling, playing badminton, listening to classical music, and walking. I am involved in many charities and currently actively involved in helping orphans affected by the ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka.
