Joanna has worked in Southampton and South Hampshire since qualifying from St Thomas' Hospital in 1992 specialising in the treatment of shoulder problems since 1996. She has worked extensively within the NHS, and also worked within the private sector since 1998.

Joanna practices privately at the Club and also works as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Orthopaedic Shoulder clinics in primary care. She works with the Consultant Orthopaedic Shoulder Surgeons from Southampton and Portsmouth, assessing a wide range of shoulder conditions referred from GPs and local physiotherapists.
