Professional profile:
Mr Boret was appointed as a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist to Watford General Hospital in early 2001. After qualifying in medicine in 1987, he worked briefly in Russia and Africa before returning to the UK to pursue a career in obstetrics and gynaecology. Part of his training was based at the Chelsea and Westminster and St Mary's Hospitals and was specifically centred around medical disorders in pregnancy, high-risk pregnancies and obstetric ultrasound. Alongside this, Mr Boret gained excellent experience in the management of gynaecological problems.
Personal profile:
Mr Boret is married and has a young daughter. He is a jazz enthusiast and also enjoys flying light aircraft. His main sporting interests are football, squash and tennis, although he describes himself more of an armchair sportsman, owing to lack of free time!
