I underwent my training in the South West Thames region of London. I was admitted to the Great Ormond Street Hospital Paediatric Fellowship in Orthopaedics, rotating with the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital at Stanmore. I extended my training with another clinical Fellowship in lower limb Arthroplasty before being appointed as a Consultant at Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor, North Wales.
I routinely perform CAS (computer assisted surgery) Knee replacements, Uni-compartmental (one side) and patella (knee cap) femoral replacement arthroplasties, MIS (minimal invasive surgery) and resurfacing hip arthroplasties. I have an interest in AMIS anterior minimal invasive surgery) hip surgery.
I have an Honorary Consultant contract with Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry to continue to develop my paediatric Orthopaedic interests. I also have an interest in training and assist regularly on Postgraduate courses and educational skills sessions and take part in registrar’s in-training assessment panels RITA.
In my little free time, I enjoy my family. Although I love the outdoors, I have trouble finding time to enjoy it.
