Carefully considered cosmetic surgery can result in a more positive outlook on life, an expert has claimed.
Despite her comments, health and beauty pundit Zara Rabinowicz cautioned against unreasonable expectations on the part of patients, suggesting that such viewpoints will only lead to feelings of disappointment, whatever the results.
Ms Rabinowicz added that "if this is understood, a good surgery can lead to higher confidence levels and a healthy outlook on life".
Her comments follow a survey from More! Magazine which claimed that 72 per cent of women between 18 and 30 want to have some form of cosmetic surgery, such as breast augmentation, face lift surgery or smaller, non-invasive treatments for wrinkles.
Similarly, on August 16th in a separate survey of 3,000 British women aged between 18 and 30 for Liberate Cosmetic Surgery, 25 per cent of females said they began to consider cosmetic treatments from as young as ten and 15.
