The following treatments are available at One Penny Lane Liverpool under the care of one of our cosmetic surgeons.
Arm reduction and uplift
This procedure reduces the amount of loose skin on the arms, often women refer to it as "bingo wings" or "bat wings", and the aim of this surgery is to give women back their confidence to wear short sleeved clothing again.
The procedure is designed for those with loose or sagging skin on their upper arms, the surgery is known as arm reduction, brachioplasty or arm lift surgery - the aim is to give you slimmer, more shapely and youthful looking upper arms.
Liposculpture can be used to improve the appearance of wrinkles, crow’s feet and laughter lines as well as sunken cheeks and other indented areas of skin. It can also be used on some types of scars and to fill out the back of your hands to help make them look younger.
Liposuction - commonly known as "lipo" - is a procedure from One Penny Lane that reshapes the body by permanently removing fatty deposits. Stubborn fat that is difficult to shift through diet or exercise often occurs on the tummy, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees and chin.
A tummy tuck, also known as abdominoplasty, is aimed to flatten your stomach, giving you a slimmer, more shapely figure. The procedure should not be used as a weight loss tool, but should be used once your target weight has been reached.
For the surgery to be completed incisions are made across the lower abdomen and around the belly button. Excess fat and skin is then removed, or stretched, or torn muscles pulled together and stitched in place. The remaining skin is then pulled tight, and a new hole is made for your belly button.
