Hospital welcomes new consultant - Mr Kakwani

Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Mr Rajeshkumar Kakwani, who specialises in foot and ankle, is now seeing patients at Spire Washington every Thursday afternoon from 15.30 to 16.30 and every other Monday from 8.30 to 10.00.

Mr Kakwani also works at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Trust and specialises in all foot and ankle conditions including heel pain, arthritis of the foot and ankle and minimally invasive foot surgery.

He said: "Spire Washington offers a comprehensive service for all orthopaedic conditions. The staff are enthusiastic, offering the best care for all of their patients."

Sharon Day, interim Business Development Manager at Spire Washington Hospital, said: "We continue to expand our range of consultants and specialities in order to provide the best service possible for every single one of our patients. I'm delighted to be welcoming Mr Kakwani to the team."
