Prostate cancer screening

13 February 2020

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and it is thought that around 47,500 men in the UK are diagnosed each year. Early detection can save lives and the good news is that, if spotted in time, prostate cancer is very treatable with latest figures showing that 84% of those treated live for 10 years or more after treatment.

Prostate Awareness Month takes place during March - an important reminder to encourage more men to be tested. Mr Stephen Gordon, Consultant Urologist explains more about prostate cancer screening in our informative video.

To make an appointment to see a Consultant Urologist, please call 020 8335 4646.
