I have been a GP for over 25 years and in this time, as well as dealing with all aspects of general practice, have developed interests in women's health and mental health. During my specialty training in General Practice, I gained experience in a wide breadth of specialties including obstetrics and gynaecology, accident and emergency, paediatrics, rheumatology and psychiatry.

I was instrumental in setting up the Manchester Spire GP service in 2018 and provide this in addition to my NHS role. I am committed to providing excellent patient care, priding myself on taking the time to understand your individual situation and working with you to provide practical solutions to address any medical concerns, providing a comprehensive service to include smears and referrals for diagnostic tests and to specialists if necessary.

Recognising that communication skills are essential to being a good GP, I have complemented mine by undertaking a coaching qualification and I consistently score above the national benchmark in independent, anonymous, General Medical Council Patient Feedback Surveys.

For more than a decade I have also worked as a GP appraiser, helping to ensure fellow doctors continuously improve the quality of their practice and meet the requirements for revalidation. I consult Wednesdays and Fridays.
