Nursing staff including student nurse met my requests and needs/concerns ASAP with a smile. They were nice, friendly and empathised with me. The consultant [Mr John Skinner] explained procedures very carefully, listened to my concerns/queries and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. He was professional but also warm and nice. The anaesthetist was very friendly, saw me before and after my procedure and gave me the time to discuss the surgery. The catering staff approach you with a pleasant attitude; there is a pantry call buzzer by your bed. The food was tasty and had lots of healthier options. The reception staff were easy to talk to and were helpful. The room was clean and made you feel at home. I will surely recommend this hospital to anyone. I thank all the staff - they were fantastic.
