I am experienced in all aspects of renal disease including general nephrology and both acute and chronic renal failure. I also have longstanding experience of renal transplantation and my research interests have been predominantly in this field in the past.

I always believe in providing the best possible care for my patients. I like to feel that I use my experience and skills to the best of my ability whilst providing a sympathetic understanding of the issues and implications of patient's medical problems, which is of particular significance in renal medicine.

My Nephrological training was at Dulwich - King's College Hospital and St Mary's Hospital Renal Units. I was appointed consultant nephrologist at St Mary's Hospital in 1983 and moved to the Hammersmith Hospital in 2005. I hold an Honorary Consultant post at Central Middlesex Hospital. The West London Renal Centre is one of the busiest units in the country serving a population of two million with one of the highest rates of renal disease / renal failure in the UK.
