Sulaiman graduated in 1997 from the prestigious University of Ibadan, Nigeria, with a BSc honours degree in physiotherapy. In 2003 he completed his Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) with bias in health care management.
He started his career as a rotational junior at the General Hospital in Lagos, Nigeria, and in1998 he joined the National Orthopaedic Hospital in Lagos where he specialised in orthopaedics and musculoskeletal physiotherapy and worked for 7 years. In 2005 he joined the NHS as a senior physiotherapist. He now manages a team of outpatient physiotherapists in the NHS.
Sulaiman has gained extensive experience and acquired specialist skills in the areas of orthopaedics and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. He has attended specialist postgraduate courses such as the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine diploma course, acupuncture and has trained to become credentialed Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (McKenzie) practitioner. He is also qualified to administer soft tissue and joint injections as part of his NHS role.
