Professional profile:
Graduate from King's College School of Medicine & Dentistry; elective in Radiology at The Moffat Hospital University of California, San Francisco. Radiology training at St Thomas', Guy's and St Georges Hospitals, culminating in Senior Registrar posts at Great Ormond Street Hospital and Oxford (Nuffield Orthopaedic, Radcliffe Infirmary, John Radcliffe and Churchill Hospitals). Working at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) in Stanmore since 1998 and have pursued interest in musculoskeletal radiology with training commitments and lecturing for the Royal College of Radiologists. Continuing research in areas of interest as above including PET/CT. I am also a reviewer for Clinical Radiology, British Journal of Radiology and European Radiology. Clinical lead in imaging at the RNOH with managerial commitments.
Personal profile:
While at University I participated in rowing (as a coxen!) achieving full colours for a gold medal at the national championships in 1990. Continued in the sport coxing at various regattas including Henley Royal Regatta.
In 1991 I took up skydiving and have over 1900 descents. I have participated in teams at national championships in 4 and 8 way events. I am a member of the British Parachute Association and Army Parachute Association. I was the first British woman to skydive onto the North Pole in 1995, and I was one of the British participants in the Women's World Record Formation Skydive in aid of Breast Cancer Research 2005, which now stands at 151.
