Background Information 
Professional profile:
Mr Pollock trained in medicine at Universtiy College London, qualifying in 1993. His orthopaedic training took place in the North Thames region including the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. During this time Mr Pollock undertook fellowships in Sydney, Australia and Denver, USA where he gained experience in hip and knee replacement, fractures and the management of patients with bone and soft tissue tumours. Mr Pollock was appointed as a consultant on the joint reconstruction unit at the the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in August 2004.

Mr Pollock has an ongoing interest in research and has published many papers on joint reconstruction and bone and soft tissue tumours. He regularly attends national and international meetings and is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Orthopaedic Oncology Society.

Mr Pollock's special interests include hip and knee replacement, arthroscopy, bone and soft tissue tumours and fractures.
