Mr Falworth studied medicine at Kings College, London graduating in 1996. He undertook his basic surgical training in London before undertaking his orthopaedic training on the North West Thames training programme which included time at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore.

His interest in the surgical management of the shoulder and elbow has been reinforced by completing an AO Trauma and Shoulder Fellowship in Salzburg, Austria as well as spending six months as the Shoulder and Elbow Fellow at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. He spent a further year as a Sports Surgery and Arthroplasty Fellow in Adelaide, South Australia before returning to the UK to take up a Consultant position at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore.

Mr Falworth¿s practice within the NHS and at Spire Bushey Hospital is related solely to the management of conditions affecting the shoulder and elbow. This encompasses all aspects of surgery including rotator cuff disease, instability, sports related injuries, trauma and shoulder and elbow joint replacement. He maintains close links with the physiotherapy department to both aid treatment and facilitate post-operative rehabilitation.

Mr Falworth has been involved in clinical research resulting in presentations and publications on various aspects of shoulder surgery as well as in other fields of orthopaedics. He is involved in the training of higher surgical trainees at Stanmore as well as other visiting surgeons.

Mr Falworth's main interests outside work revolve
around his wife and two young children who take up most of his free time. When time allows he is a keen skier and an avid spectator of rugby. His other interests include travel, photography and fine wines.
