I qualified from the Royal Free in London in 1993. Prior to my appointment as a consultant at Barnet Hospital I trained in paediatrics for eight years including two years at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital London, one year at the Hammersmith Hospital, London and one year at University College, London.

I see a broad spectrum of paediatric cases from newborn babies with feeding, growth or developmental issues right up to teenager's headaches or tummy pains. Though I do see myself as specialised in baby health I keep up to date with illness in older children and my day to day work involves me with children of all ages.

I have trained extensively in neonatal intensive care over the years and have been very involved with general paediatric ward work and outpatients.

I have a wife and son. We are keen walkers spending many holidays in Wales and the Lake District. We also go skiing every year and if we get the chance scuba diving in the summer. We love theatre and try to see as many shows as possible. I am also a gardener and will spend many weekends keeping things green and growing.
