An experienced and Nationally regarded Breast cancer and specialist Surgeon in Bristol, Simon was appointed as a Consultant Breast Surgeon in 1990 at Frenchay Hospital, where in 1996 he created the Frenchay Breast Care Centre, establishing the first One Stop Breast Clinic in the S West.
He developed his expertise in Breast Ultrasound and established the first Breast Ultrasound course for Surgeons, and has co-authored Interventional Breast Ultrasound.
Simon led the centralization of Breast Surgery in Bristol, which has brought together all of the Breast Services including Breast Screening into the new Breast Care Centre at Southmead Hospital.
In addition to his Consultant Breast Surgeon, Frenchay Hospital, Bristol, Hon Lecturer in Surgery Universities of Bristol and East Anglia.
