Bristol has worked tirelessly to improve the services we provide to our patients and it has finally paid off.
Not only did we win the hospital award for Most Improved Patient Satisfaction, but we also collected the winner of the Inspiring People award for the introduction of the Hourly Rounds process on the wards. The Senior Management Team representatives collected the award for patient satisfaction and Kate Hoffmann collected the Inspiring People award on behalf of the in-patient team.
The Awards were given to Bristol as our 2011 results showed an 8% increase in our patient satisfaction score and a 16% increase in our consultant satisfaction score for 2011.
The improvement in our score is credited to every single member of staff throughout the hospital and for the Inspiring People Award credit must go to all of the ward staff who have relentlessly applied the H.E.L.P system and been rewarded by an immediate improvement in the way our patients think we deliver care and service.
This is a fantastic achievement and it’s great to be recognised for it nationally. The awards will be shown off in a new cabinet in main reception for all our patients, consultants and visitors to see.
Well done and thank you to everyone at Bristol! Keep up the good work in 2012.
