Spire Bristol Hospital is pleased to announce that it has joined the Sponsor Group for both Bristol Harbour Festival 2011 and Bristol International Balloon Fiesta 2011, two of the South West’s most popular events.
The Bristol Harbour Festival, 29th-31st July, is Bristol’s biggest cultural event and is one of the largest free festivals in the country. In 2011 the festival celebrates its 40th Anniversary.
The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, 11th-14th August, is Europe’s largest annual hot air balloon festival, attracting over 100 hot air balloons and 500,000 visitors over the four day event.
David Pyne, Sponsorship Manager at Bristol City Council, said “We are very grateful to Spire Hospital Bristol for joining the Sponsors Group. Their support helps to ensure that the festival can continue to be Bristol’s leading cultural festival.”
Rob Anderson, director at Spire Bristol Hospital, added “As a leading provider of private healthcare in the area, and the only private hospital in the South West to have an Intensive Care Unit, we are committed to supporting our local community."
"Therefore we are delighted to support two such iconic Bristol events, both of which provide a considerable boost to the local economy.”
