Background Information 
Professional profile:
I have an interest in hip, trauma and lower limb sports injuries.

I underwent training in London and Oxford and completed my higher surgical training in Bristol. I also completed fellowships in both Australia and the United States. As part of my NHS contract with North Bristol NHS Trust, I cover pelvic injuries for the south west of England as part of a regional referral service. I specialise in lower limb trauma and reconstruction. My particular specialities are in hip complaints, including hip arthroplasty, and in knee injuries.

I practise minimal invasive hip surgery and I am on an international design panel looking at new surgical implants. I have presented the results of my research at national and international meetings.
Personal profile:
Outside the hospital I enjoy golf and motor sports. I am a doctor for the Formula 1 Grand Prix as well as the local circuit at Castle Combe.
