Background Information 
Professional profile:
Mr Robinson is a specialist in knee surgery. He did his orthopaedic training in London where he was also Research Fellow in Sports Truama Surgery at the Imperial College. Here he published his thesis on knee ligament injuries and was awarded the prestigious Master of Surgery degree by the University of London.

He spent a year's fellowship in Bordeaux at the "Clinique du Sport", consistently rated as one of France's top sports clinics, where he was trained in the latest arthroscopic surgery techniques, including Anatomic "Double-bundle" ACL reconstruction. In addition, he became proficient in the use of Computer-Assisted Surgery (CAS) for improved accuracy in ligament reconstruction and knee replacement procedures.

A further 6 months fellowship was spent at the Avon Orthopaedic Centre, Bristol where he specialised in Unicompartmental (Partial) knee replacements.

Mr Robinson has published many research articles and book chapters on knee surgery. He is regularly invited to lecture and present his research at international meetings. He is a reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine and recently won the British Association for Surgery of the Knee Presidents Medal. As a consultant to orthopaedic industry companies, he has developed surgical techniques and instruments to improve knee ligament reconstruction.
