Dr Olukoga was appointed as Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Management at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Gateshead in February 2003. She is the lead clinician for the Multidisciplinary Pain Service. Having trained in Anaesthesia and Pain Management at Leicester and Newcastle, she also undertook a Diploma in Pain Management at the University of Cardiff.

This training provided Dr Olukoga with broad based multidisciplinary training in Pain management and she applies an evidenced based bio psychosocial approach in my assessment and management of pain patients.

Dr Olukoga treats all aspects of chronic pain and performs a wide range of pain intervention techniques including Epidurals, Trigger point injections, Medial branch block and Radiofrequency lesioning for the treatment of back pain patients.

Dr Olukoga also undertakes medico legal work.
