Mr Clark qualified in Dentistry from Edinburgh in 1985 before undertaking Oral & Maxillofacial posts in Edinburgh, Liverpool and Aberdeen. Mr Clark studied Medicine in Aberdeen and completed basic surgical training in Scotland before higher surgical training in Newcastle, Sunderland and Middlesbrough. In his NHS practice he has a regular facial trauma operating list and represents Oral and Maxillofacial Surgey for the Greater Manchester trauma network.
Mr Clark performs surgery for cosmetic and functional facial deformity on over 50 jaws per year. He is the NHS Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon providing bone grafting and implant surgery for Manchester Dental Hospital and Manchester Royal Infirmary and has a regular skin surgical session. Outwith clinical practice he is Training Programme Director in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for the North West and Regional Representative for Surgery for The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is an instructor of Critical Care and Advanced Trauma and examines for MBChB FDS, MRCS and FRCS.
Mr Clark has a regular paediatric oral and Maxillofacial surgery commitment.
