Hospital welcomes new consultant - Mr Mortimer

Consultant Gynaecologist, Mr Alex Mortimer, who specialises in gynaecology and obstetrics, is now seeing patients at Spire Washington every Thursday afternoon.
Mr Mortimer also works at Sunderland Royal Hospital and specialises in issues including menstrual problems, pelvic pain and urinary incontinence.
He said: “I’m very pleased to have joined the team at Spire Washington Hospital. The service they offer is very efficient, resulting in prompt appointments. I am happy to see patients without waiting for a GP referral and look forward to affording patients plenty of time to discuss all of their concerns and involve them fully in the decision about their treatment.”
